וְשֵׁ֤ם הָאִישׁ֙ נָבָ֔ל וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ אֲבִגָ֑יִל וְהָאִשָּׁ֤ה טֽוֹבַת־שֶׂ֙כֶל֙ וִ֣יפַת תֹּ֔אַר וְהָאִ֥ישׁ קָשֶׁ֛ה וְרַ֥ע מַעֲלָלִ֖ים וְה֥וּא כלבו [כָלִבִּֽי׃]
און דער נאָמען פֿון דער מאַן איז געװען נָבֿל, און דער נאָמען פֿון זײַן װײַב אַבֿיגַיִל. און די פֿרױ איז געװען װױלפֿאַרשטאַנדיק און שײן אין געשטאַלט; אָבער דער מאַן איז געװען האַרט און שלעכט אין מעשׂים; און ער איז געװען פֿון כָּלֵבֿס משפּחה.

“Send, for yourself, men, and have them scout the Land of Cana’an, which I am giving to Bnei Yisroel; one man, one man each, for his father’s tribe you shall send them, each leader among them.”

Moshe sent them from the desert of Paran by the word of Adonoy; all of them [were] men of distinction, they were the heads of Bnei Yisroel.
